Skater Rap Online Skateboard Magazine has been launched to bring news and examine the underground rap scene, its links to the skateboarding culture and its people. The magazine will focus not only on pictures of skateboarders but also on the stories of pro skateboarders on the local, national and international circuits. Also, a diligent search will be undertaken to find young female skateboarders. We will not only seek them out but also appeal to them to reach out to us so we can follow their careers and carry their stories. The aim is to offer skateboarding to young girls as a viable sporting opportunity.

Skater Rap will also focus on skateboarders that rap and/or that are interested in the hip-hop culture. Emerging underground rap artists will have another online portal that caters to bringing their music and stories to a broader audience. Skater Rap will provide skateboard news, interviews, features as well as popular movie and music reviews. Information on local, national and international competitions will be provided to encourage skateboarders to bookmark us as the place to visit for updates.

At Skater Rap, we are looking to showcase independent rappers that have an interest in skateboarding and have successfully blended the hip-hop and skateboarding cultures. In addition, there will be buzz joints from emerging rappers that have provocative lyrics we think are in need of online publicity.

If you are promoter or marketing agent with a brand of urban gear, skate shoes or accessories, an independent record label and/or publicist promoting hip hop music you feel would fit well with SkaterRap.com and would like to be featured, please contact our editorial staff for consideration.
